Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity - 1 Timothy 4:12

At AFMIM – Leeds assembly we believe that God is looking for a young generation (young Timothies, Samuels, Josiahs and Solomons) who are mature enough to be used of him.  A generation which want to move on from a diet of spiritual milk to a diet of spiritual solid food (Hebrews 5:12-14)  

This ministry is there to work with all young people who want more of God and wants to move on towards greater spiritual and physical maturity (1 Corinthians 13:11). We are born babies so we can grow up and be productive and useful. Likewise, we are born again, so we can become mature Christians and be productive in the Kingdom of God.

• To help ordinary young people become extra-ordinary servants of God by helping them find God’s purpose and calling in their lives.
• To encourage and equip members to be doers not just hearers of God’s word.
• To empower members spiritually; physically and emotionally so as to enable them to live distinguished and fruitful Godly lives in their families, communities, work places, ministries, relationships, studies etc

This ministry works with people from a very diverse age range who will be at very different stages in their lives. However, it seeks to integrate all into the body of Christ and recognize the different gifts for ministry.

The group is subdivided into the following ministries

• Teenagers  - 13 - 17yrs
• Young Adults – 17 - 40 yrs and single
• Young couples  - under 40 and Married
• Daniel’s Army – Prayer and Intercessory team

Therefore let us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity……  Heb 6:1
